DO YOU SPEAK ROULETTE?
So that not only luck speaks, but also that you can have a say, we explain some technical terms to you here.
The player tells the dealer what he wants to play (numbers, Cheveaux/pair of numbers), Carrés (number quartet) etc. and hands him the required chips. There are fixed announcements referring to sections such as Zero game (0/3, 12/15, 26 and 32/35), Orphelins (1, 6/9, 14/17, 17/20, 31/34), Small series (5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36), Big series (0/2/3, 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 25/29, 32/35). Other announcements are finals (numbers ending with the same number; e.g. finals three: 3, 13, 23, 33). Further announcements are the "First Four" (0, 1, 2, 3), game 7/9 (7/8, 8/9, 17/18, 19, 27, 28/29), the vertical of a number (20 e.g. 17/20 and 20/23) and the completion of a number, where all Cheveaux and Carrés as well as the number itself are set.
Le tiers de cylindre (third of the wheel): You bet on 12 numbers that form a third section in the wheel. (5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36). This means you only need six chips for 12 numbers.
(1, 6/9, 14/17, 17/20, 31/34)
SIMPLE CHANCE (ROULETTE)
Red, Black, Numbers 1-18/ Manque, Numbers 19-36/ Pass, Even, Odd. If a number of this combination wins, the single bet (amount wagered) is paid out 1 x in addition.
You place your bets yourself or instruct the croupiers (announcements) to place your chips. You must ensure that the croupier places the announcement correctly.
The even numbers are called Pair (French) or Even (English) on the roulette table. Odd numbers are called Odd. In the field marked Pair, bet on 18 numbers. Payout ratio 1:1.
Term for the full number in roulette. The number series ranges from 0 - 36.
The zero (0) is the 37th number in roulette. The calculation of the payout ratios is based on 36 numbers, so that the zero is also considered a bank number (advantage). In principle, however, it has - like the remaining 36 - similar betting possibilities and equal odds. The special feature is simple chances: While the numbers from 1 - 36 are each assigned one of the simple chances (red/black; even/odd; manque/pass) this is different with zero. It is green, neither even/odd nor in the manque. If you have set a Simple Chance and zero falls, then you stay in the game with half your bet.
In this Roulette combination, you bet on the numbers around the zero: a chip on 26 and à cheval 0/3, 12/15 and 32/35 will each place a bet. That means four chips for seven numbers.
The tokens (chips) are available at the cashier or at the table. Each casino has its own chips in special colours and values. Chips are also tips and means of payment, e.g. at the casino bar. In American Roulette you receive special chips (wheel checks), the value of which you determine at the table and which only apply here. A chip also means: piece. With the announcment "A piece for the employees" you place a token in the Tronc (tip). Popular denominations: 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000.
MAXIMUM / MINIMUM
At the tables you will find information on how high your bet may (maximum) and must (minimum) be.
An jedem Roulette-Tisch finden Sie eine Anzeige. Dieses Display zeigt die Reihenfolge der gefallenen Zahlen. Bei Interesse können Sie die schriftliche Dokumentation in der Spielbank kaufen.
The employee at the gaming table of a casino who is responsible for you and your game. The English term is dealer and is common in American Roulette, Black Jack and Poker. The croupiers in French roulette throw the ball, pay out winnings. The head croupier at the lower end pays for the columns, among other things. Spieltechniker is the German term in the casino.
It is customary for a player to tip the full number (plein) if he wins. The employees of a casino are partly paid with tips.
