We have separate areas reserved for classical gaming and slot machines – you’ll find roulette, poker and blackjack on the ground floor of the Kurhaus, or the spirit of Las Vegas with our slots under the vaulted ceilings of the basement.
If you have any questions about classical gaming, please don’t hesitate to ask our staff at the reception desk. They will organize an executive on duty to give you further information concerning classical games.
Our croupiers have to take care of the games at the tables. They’ll be happy to help you out in setting your stakes, but please understand that our croupiers can’t respond to detailed questions as they have to keep the game moving.
You can always ask our casino employees in the slot-machine gaming rooms.
You’ll often hear it murmured after a win on the roulette table – Für die Angestellten, or pour les employés. That refers to a time-honoured casino tradition – not an obligation – to give a chip as a tip for the croupier after a straight-up win; this will be greatly appreciated. The chip then goes into a box known as a tronc. It’s completely up to you whether, when and how much you tip at the other game types.
